A magic place. It is a very special experience to have a great memory of Slovenia. There is nothing not to like. I would repeat St.Daniel without a doubt. Safir Hotel Casino is a newly built complex at the Slovenian-Italian border, about 2 km from the centre of Sežana and close to a variety of attractions. Excellent 4 ⭐ hotel! Spacious room with carpet, super comfy bed, nice decoration, big bathroom, soundproof, pets allowed. Both dinner and breakfast were exquisite. Great value for money!

Set in the heart of the Lipica stud farm with over 300 Lipizzaner horses, Hotel Maestoso offers elegant ensuite rooms. Some of them have balconies overlooking the nearby golf course. Absolutely wonderful stay here. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were fab. The hotel is in an incredible area with all the horses and green fields. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated and we loved our stay.

We’ve previously stayed in another accommodation with 2 rooms, but our “smaller” single room in hotel Prunk felt more spacious and had enough room for our bags and clothes. The location may not look anything special, but you’ll be able to get to Trieste or the Miramare castle as well as other interesting destinations in Slovenia easily. We’ve also found it very convenient to have the parking lot right in the front of the building.

We have had a great experience, also with a wine tasting (incl. local food) with wines from their own vineyards. Good location to explore both Slovenia and Italy (Triest area) from. During weekend the restaurant in the village is a Great visit for good authentic food (5 min walk).
