Also tip for newcomers: Free umbrella's! Everyone leaves them behind there.

Scarlet provided a wonderful and warm welcome. The property is stunning and is surrounded by a beautiful and lovingly maintained garden and forest. The futons were amazingly comfortable as well - the best we've experienced on our trip. We would be happy to return!

Featuring a large Japanese garden and natural hot-spring baths, Nanten-En Ryokan offers traditional luxury in a beautiful natural setting. We stayed two nights at Nanten-En and everything was incredible. The location is super calm. You can enjoy silence and a nice walk around. The service was incredible, everyone was kind. The meals were beautifully prepared and delicious. I truly recommend it for the experience. I will make sure to go back during my next trip to Japan. Thank you so much !!

Featuring free WiFi and a hot spring bath, Okumizuma Onsen offers accommodation in Kaizuka, 37 km from Osaka. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. The staff was kind and attentive, they immediately made us feel at home. It felt very luxurious, we wish we could have stayed a long time. The onsen was perfect, especially the indoor and outdoor hot baths. The food was good. The staff drove us to the bus station promptly at check out, which was so helpful!Okumizuma Onsen was perfect, and we hope to return!

At Fudoguchikan, guests can bathe in the open air, in a public hot-spring bath that boasts mountain and river views. Tranquil Japanese-style rooms offer river views, some from a private open-air bath.... Fudoguchikan was the highlight of our Japan Holiday. We stayed here the final night before leaving from Osaka as it is quite close to the airport (though feels worlds away!) We loved experiencing traditional Japanese accommodation and hospitality. The baths were spectacular- looking out over the river and cherry blossoms. We did a walk in the woods nearby (so beautiful) - it was lovely to experience parts of Japan away from the hustle of the big cities. The service was outstanding - really can’t fault our stay here!

Situated in Osaka, 700 metres from Matsunomiya Shrine and 1.1 km from Tsurumibashi Shopping Street, Ryokan Suzuran Tengachaya offers free WiFi and air conditioning. We only spent one night here, but it was enough to see that the place is great! It was easy to find it and to check in, as we were arriving pretty late and had to do the self-check in. Everything provided in the room certainly improved our short stay. The beds were comfortable, and we didn’t experience any discomfort at all.

Located in Osaka, less than 1 km from Osaka Johnan Christ Church, Wafu Ryokan Uehonmachi provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Extremely kind staff and a very nice atmosphere. I felt very at home and relaxed.

Set in Osaka, 200 metres from Shimoyamatobashi Monument and 1.1 km from the centre, Hotel Yu-shu offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. Traditional style, nice room and accommodations. The bathroom is great and very practical. The apartment is located 5min by walk to Dotonbori! But still a very quiet neighborhood.

The location is perfect and also the room is so clean as it should be ryokan style. Really recommended this to someone who would like to try this experience.
